Hampton Bay Gazebo Ceiling Fan
The Hampton Bay Gazebo ceiling fan is the wet-rated fan built for porches, patios and pergolas. Compare the Gazebo III and Gazebo IV, then find the manual, parts and remote for any Gazebo fan, old or new.

Gazebo III vs Gazebo IV
Three Gazebo models sell at Home Depot today. All are wet rated, so rain can reach them.

Gazebo III 52 in.
The classic, run by pull chains.

Gazebo III 42 in.
The small one, for compact porches.

Gazebo IV 52 in.
The newest, with a remote in the box.
The Gazebo IV comes in matte black (AK684A-MBK) and flat bronze (AK684A-FB). The Gazebo III 52 in. comes in natural iron (YG836A-NI), brushed nickel (YG836A-BN) and white (YG836A-WH).
Where a Gazebo fan can go
What the listings and manuals say about weather, ceiling height and room size.
Wet rated
Every current Gazebo is wet rated for indoor and outdoor use. Home Depot lists the Gazebo III for patios, decks, gazebos and pergolas.
The blades are weather resistant; the IV’s shade is shatter resistant.
All Hampton Bay fansLow or sloped ceilings
The Gazebo III 52 in. has a tri-mount canopy: standard downrod, sloped ceiling or flush. The Gazebo IV hangs from its 4-1/2 in. downrod.
Flush mounting puts the blades closer to the ceiling.

Gazebo fan parts and remotes
Glass, blades and a remote are the parts Gazebo owners replace most.
Glass shade
The Gazebo III uses a frosted glass bowl; the Gazebo IV a twist-n-lock frosted shade. Order by fan name or model number.
Glass isn’t covered by the fan warranty.
Fan replacement partsBlades and arms
Gazebo blades and arms are made for that fan. Replace the full set so it stays balanced, and keep the arm screws tight.
Wobbling? The manual’s balancing steps come first.
Balancing stepsAdd a remote
The Gazebo III is remote ready. A Hampton Bay kit with its own receiver, such as the 98130, adds a remote to most downrod fans.
Home Depot lists those kits as not for hugger fans.

Is the Hampton Bay Gazebo fan wet rated?
Yes. The Gazebo III and Gazebo IV are wet rated for indoor and outdoor use, so they can go where rain reaches, like an open patio, deck or pergola.

The 52 in. Gazebo III and Gazebo IV include a light kit and two 9 W LED bulbs. The 42 in. Gazebo III doesn’t, but it takes an optional light kit.

A Gazebo name Home Depot no longer lists. Find its manual and parts by the model number on the label, or call Hampton Bay customer service.
What warranty does a Gazebo fan have?
The Gazebo III guide gives the motor a lifetime warranty for the original buyer, the light kit three years and other parts one year. Glass isn’t covered.
Can I use a wall speed control with a Gazebo fan?
The Gazebo III guide warns against using any solid-state fan speed control. Use the pull chains, or add a fan remote kit instead.
